Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers

Cancellations By Provider
All classes offered by The Movement School are subject to cancellation if there are insufficient registrations or due to other extenuating circumstances such as weather.
• For any cancelled program initiated by The Movement School, you will be issued either a refund, or a credit. You will not be charged a withdrawal fee for any Movement School initiated program cancellations.
• For any cancelled classes made by The Movement School, you will be issued a Make-Up Class Pass admission that can be used towards a class of equal or greater value. Make-Up Classes will no longer be offered for missed attendance except in cases of medical or family emergency.
Withdrawals
Only participants who are moving away from the Eastern Ontario/Northeastern United States area OR have a medical reason (with supporting documentation) may withdraw from a registered program early.
Transfers
You may transfer immediately into another program, subject to availability.
• Pro-rated fees/refunds will be applied to any difference between the two courses.
• The Movement School does not charge withdrawal fees on transferred programs.
• Passes purchased for Summer Camps or P.A. Day camps cannot be transferred to another person.
• Passes purchased for Summer Camps or P.A. Day camps are not interchangeable unless special permission has been granted.
Late Registrations
Late registrations for programs are accepted if they can be accommodated. When you register late for a program, you will pay a pro-rated fee for that program. Monthly subscriptions are initiated on date of purchase and so are not subject to late registration.
Cancellations By Client
• You will not receive a refund on any Passes purchased towards Camps and/or Classes and/or Monthly Membership UNLESS you have either moved away from the Eastern Ontario/Northeastern United States area OR due to a medical reason (with supporting documentation).
• You will receive a pro-rated credit on your account, minus your withdrawal fee for any outstanding or unused balances.
• The withdrawal fee for either Passes or Class admissions is:
◦ Passes: value of at least a one-day pass.
◦ Monthly Membership Subscription: Less than One Month Written Notice: You will be charged 2 Months worth of Tuition (of the same membership) for early cancellation without due notice. At least One Month Written Notice: You will be charged 1 Month worth of Tuition (of the same membership) for early cancellation with due notice.
Temporary Suspensions
• A temporary suspension or pause will be issued for Passes or Membership Subscriptions when the facility is closed for longer than 7 business days consecutively.
• A temporary suspension or pause will be issued for Passes or Membership Subscriptions when you cannot attend due to a medical reason (with supporting documentation) and do not wish to cancel your Pass or Membership while you are sick or recovering. You must know the defined return date from your medical condition to ask for a temporary suspension. You can ask The Movement School to either suspend or extend your Pass expiration date OR Membership suspension at any time.
A temporary suspension or pause will be issued for Passes or Membership Subscriptions when you cannot attend due to scheduling conflicts and/or logistics. Suspensions made under this parameter are made on a case by case basis and must be reviewed and deemed to be justifiable and reasonable.
PLEASE NOTE: Monthly subscription suspensions cannot exceed the duration of the initial subscription purchase for any reason. If a paused or suspended membership subscription exceeds the original purchase duration, the account will be charged the full amount of that 6 or 12 month Membership.
Deposits
Bookings with The Movement School require a deposit to be confirmed. The Deposit amount is whatever the client can reasonably afford. Different families have different budgets so we try to remain as flexible as possible. All deposits made towards all bookings such as for Team or Birthday Parties and/or Healing Room treatments are strictly non-refundable.
